BRANDIE BURCHETT, PARALEGAL & LEGAL ASSISTANT
Brandie is a blossoming paralegal and legal assistant with an education in both the sciences and paralegal studies. She graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and in the process, found a passion for the environment. After spending her early twenties in a range of professions, including everything from a barista to a substitute public school teacher to a heath technician paraprofessional, Brandie found her life calling in the legal field. As a graduate of the ABA certified Paralegal Program at Arapahoe Community College, Brandie developed an interest in litigation and legal research. Her favorite aspect of working in the legal field is the perpetual learning that comes from interacting with clients, attorneys, experts, clerks, and other legal professionals. While respecting the sometimes messy process of litigation, Brandie thoroughly enjoys creating order from chaos and organizing cases to facilitate the successful development of arguments.
In her free time, Brandie loves to read anything she can put her hands on…from novels to blogs to magazines to scholarly articles. Sometimes after a day of research and work at The Firm, Brandie winds down with a nice cup of tea and takes time to pursue seasonal gardening (the current focus is on salad greens and herbs), or creating various crafts (this week, it’s crocheting).
